A board game – learn to spell as you race around Australia.
Start and finish at Sydney. Travel through each city or town on the map.
Pick up cards with questions that practise phonic skills.
Some harder ones (buff coloured) practise simple spelling rules. Only include these cards for older or more able students.
The number of spaces you move forward depends on your answer to the question.
For cards with “T” in the corner, you have an agreed time, e.g. 1 minute for children, 20 seconds for adults.
On your travel log, tick off each town or city as you go through it.
