How to teach phonics in a way that kids love and learn – multisensory learning.letter b pencil

Use lots of ways to teach and practise each letter – look at it, say it, trace and/or write it, find words that start with the sound, say the rhyme, do the action (or make up your own), and anything else that you can dream up. In multisensory learning, as many senses and learning styles as possible are used so that they all reinforce each other.

It is important that children learn to write letters with correct starting points and directions from the beginning. This is particularly important for letters that children often confuse or reverse, such as “b”. Does it help if your child points at the screen and follows the letter whenever it is being drawn in the video?
