Gilead Success with Maths
Gilead® Success with Maths, is a suite of computer programs that aims to lay a firm foundation in maths skills.
Multiplication tables (2 to 12) are demonstrated in several ways. Each table is then followed by a random selection of quiz questions. Other useful information is given.
There are also quizzes to practise addition and subtraction, division by 2 to 12 and long multiplication and division. Answers are demonstrated if students get them wrong.
Quizzes do not speed up as students progress, which is particularly helpful for students who do not perform well under pressure.
Many concepts that students meet in Year 7 (beginning of high school in Australia), and the following year or two, are introduced. If they understand and remember these key ideas, they will have a good foundation for success.

There is a bonus section for younger children – counting to 5, counting to 50, recognising and writing numbers (0 to 10), simple addition and subtraction.
Unfortunately, Gilead® Sucess with Maths is currently proving too large and complicated to make available to download.
